Responsible for in-process quality inspection and monitoring of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with customer and quality requirements.
Conduct process audits and verify adherence to Control Plan, SOP, Work Instructions and Quality Standards.
Identify process-related defects and perform Root Cause Analysis using 4M, 5 Why, Fishbone and other problem-solving tools.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce rejection, rework and customer complaints.
Monitor critical quality parameters and ensure process stability through SPC and other quality tools.
Handle non-conforming parts, defect segregation, rework and disposition activities.
Prepare and maintain quality documents, inspection reports,



check sheets and process records as per IATF 16949 requirements.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance and other cross-functional teams for timely resolution of quality issues.
Support customer complaint analysis and 8D problem-solving activities.
Conduct operator/inspector training on quality standards, inspection methods and defect awareness.
Drive Poka-Yoke, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to improve process quality and reduce COPQ.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 quality management system requirements.
