Role Definition

Roles at this level are entry-level engineers focused on the execution of the engineering projects assigned to them under guidance.

Key Responsibility

Project Execution
Execute tasks within set parameters and close guidance of the lead / area leads
Prepare quality deliverable within budget, schedule and take full responsibility for the own task.
Resolve interface issues with other disciplines

Preferred Skillset/Software
Prepare pipe class and piping specification and calculations
SRD and material coding
Specification for piping speciality items
Suppliers offer evaluation, bid tabulation, drawing review
Inspection and material clearance

Education & Experience
Bachelor of Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering with 3 to 5 years experience in piping material engineering

Key Knowledge Area

ASTM for piping components, ASME B 31.3 code for piping, ASME PCC-1, piping calculations for pipe thickness and components, Smart Reference Data (SRD)
