Job Description:
Manage and review U.S. business and individual tax returns.
Prepare and handle U.S. tax compliance engagements.
Mandatory hands-on experience with CCH Axcess for U.S. tax compliance and return preparation/review.
Review tax work prepared by associates and seniors for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and review tax workpapers, supporting schedules, and tax adjustments.
Handle complex U.S. tax compliance and research matters.
Identify tax issues and provide appropriate technical guidance.
Perform tax research and resolve routine technical issues.
Coordinate with managers/reviewers and resolve review points.
Work directly with U.S. CPA firms and clients as required.
Support international tax engagements where applicable.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned engagements.
Mentor and guide junior team members.
Maintain robust documentation and follow established tax processes.
Apply robust accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, journal entries, financial statements, and accounting adjustments.
