Risk Assessment: Conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to evaluate operational risks.
System Design: Build safety into machinery, plants, and workflows using engineering controls and inherent safety design.
Inspections and Audits: Perform regular safety checks of facilities, tools, and protective equipment to ensure compliance with laws and standards.
Incident Investigation: Analyze root causes of accidents or near-misses and design corrective or preventive measures.
Training and Guidance: Provide technical advice to teams and educate staff on safety procedures, hazardous materials, and emergency response plans.





Key Requirements & Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering (such as industrial, mechanical, chemical, or civil engineering) or a related safety field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in risk modeling, safety compliance, and reading blueprints or system schematics.
Soft Skills: Robust critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills to explain complex safety standards to workers and management.
