Key Responsibilities
Handle customer enquiries for LCL, FCL and Air Freight shipments to/from Qatar.
Understand customer requirements including origin, destination, commodity, weight, volume, dimensions and Incoterms.
Obtain freight rates from shipping lines, NVOCCs, airlines, overseas agents and local vendors.
Prepare and send competitive freight quotations to customers.
Calculate LCL CBM and Air Freight chargeable weight.
Coordinate FCL container requirements including 20FT, 40FT and 40HC containers.
Provide customers with freight rates, transit times, sailing/flight schedules and rate validity.
Follow up on quotations, enquiries and pending business opportunities.
Coordinate with the sales team to convert enquiries into confirmed shipments.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, customer follow-ups and sales activities.
Coordinate with the operations and documentation teams after shipment confirmation.
Follow up on bookings, cargo pickup, customs clearance,



documentation and shipment status.
Coordinate with overseas agents and Qatar-based customers/partners.
Keep customers updated regarding ETD, ETA, delays, transshipment and delivery status.
Assist in resolving customer complaints and operational issues.
Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate with the accounts team when required.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales and shipment reports.
Maintain valuable relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for current business.

Experience
2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics or shipping sales coordination preferred.
Experience handling Qatar/GCC shipments will be an advantage.
Experience in LCL, FCL and Air Freight is preferred.
