Electrical Maintenance – Job Description
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery, and industrial electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in motors, control panels, MCC panels, distribution boards, and wiring systems.
Inspect and maintain electrical components to ensure secure and reliable operation.
Perform routine checks on motors, pumps, transformers, generators, contactors, relays, and circuit breakers.
Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control circuit diagrams.
Carry out cable installation, termination, testing, and maintenance.
Monitor electrical parameters such as voltage, current, and insulation resistance.




Identify the root cause of electrical failures and take corrective action to minimize machine downtime.
Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Follow electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and applicable safety standards.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation of equipment.
Support installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical systems and machinery.
