Handle day-to-day purchase activities for mechanical and engineering requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
Obtain and compare quotations based on price, quality, delivery time, and payment terms.
Negotiate prices, commercial terms, delivery schedules, and other conditions with suppliers.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
Coordinate with the Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Stores, Quality, and Accounts departments.
Purchase mechanical components such as:
Bearings
Gears
Shafts
Fasteners
Couplings
Seals and O-rings
Pneumatic/hydraulic components
Valves and fittings
Motors and mechanical spares
Fabricated and machined components
Tools and consumables
Read and understand mechanical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.

Required Technical Knowledge
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Valuable knowledge of mechanical components and engineering materials.
Ability to understand 2D mechanical drawings and specifications.
Basic knowledge of machining, fabrication, casting, forging, and sheet-metal processes.
Knowledge of materials such as MS, SS, EN-series materials, aluminium, brass, etc.




Understanding of basic dimensions, tolerances, fits, and surface finish.
Familiarity with mechanical standards and specifications is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.

Preferred Experience

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
