Role Overview

Withum is looking for experienced US Tax professionals to join its Bangalore team and work on 1065 and 1120-S tax engagements, with a solid focus on Operating Partnership / Partnership Tax.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review and manage US Partnership (Form 1065) and S-Corporation (Form 1120-S) tax returns.
Handle complex Operating Partnership tax engagements and related tax computations.
Review financial statements, trial balances and supporting schedules for tax reporting.
Work on partnership allocations, K-1s and related tax requirements.
Identify tax issues and provide appropriate technical solutions.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns and deliverables.




Coordinate with US-based teams and clients to resolve queries and obtain required information.
Review work prepared by junior team members and provide technical guidance.
For Manager-level roles, manage engagements, client relationships, team performance and deliverables.

Candidate Profile
Relevant experience in US Tax, particularly 1065 / Partnership Tax.
Solid experience in Operating Partnership is highly preferred.
Exposure to 1120-S will be an added advantage.
Robust understanding of US tax compliance and partnership taxation.
Excellent analytical, communication and client-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
Experience working with US clients or global delivery teams is preferred.

Qualification

Manager: EA / CPA / CA is mandatory.

Senior Accountant & Associate Manager: Relevant US Tax experience is mandatory; EA / CPA / CA will be an add
