Packing In-Charge – Machine Shop

Position: Packing In-Charge

Department: Machine Shop / Production

Experience: 1–2 Years

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage daily packing activities in the machine shop.
Ensure machined components are properly cleaned, packed, labelled, and dispatched.
Verify part numbers, quantities, traceability, and packing requirements before dispatch.
Ensure components are packed according to customer and company specifications.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams.
Maintain packing material stock and ensure proper utilization.
Prepare and maintain packing-related records and documentation.
Ensure proper handling of components to avoid damage, scratches, or contamination.
Monitor and guide packing operators/helpers in their daily activities.
Maintain 5S, cleanliness, and safety standards in the packing area.
Report packing issues, shortages, damages,



or discrepancies to the concerned supervisor/manager.
Support timely completion of packing and dispatch activities.
HINDI Spoken Must

Required Skills
1–2 years of experience in packing / machine shop / manufacturing industry.
Basic knowledge of machined components and packing methods.
Ability to verify part numbers and quantities.
Valuable communication and team-handling skills.
Basic documentation and record-maintenance skills.
Knowledge of 5S and workplace safety.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Good attention to detail.
Able to coordinate with multiple departments.
Willingness to work in a manufacturing setting and rotational shifts, if required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
