Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Concrete Machine Operator / Control Room Operator to operate and monitor automated machinery used in the production of interlock concrete blocks and other cement products.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor automated concrete production machinery from the control room.
Operate SCADA/PLC control panels and computerized systems.
Monitor the mixing, batching, molding, and production processes.
Ensure consistent product quality and proper machine settings.
Monitor production flow and identify operational issues.
Troubleshoot machine faults and report technical problems.
Perform basic maintenance and adjustments when required.
Maintain secure and efficient operation of production equipment.
Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
Maintain production records and follow company safety procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience operating concrete block/interlock block machinery is preferred.
Experience with automated production systems and control panels.
Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems is an advantage.
Good understanding of concrete mixing, batching, and molding processes.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot machine faults.
Basic mechanical/technical knowledge.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
