Senior Steward – Roles & Responsibilities

Main Duties:
Supervise and guide F&B; Service Stewards during operations.
Allocate duties and work stations to stewards.
Ensure proper restaurant setup before service.
Monitor food and beverage service quality.
Check table setup, cleanliness, cutlery and glassware.
Coordinate with Kitchen, Bar, Banquet and other departments.
Handle guest requests and minor complaints professionally.
Support the Captain/Restaurant Manager during busy operations.
Ensure proper buffet setup, replenishment and clearing.
Monitor hygiene, grooming and personal appearance of team members.
Train recent stewards on service standards and hotel SOPs.
Check availability of service equipment and report shortages/damages.




Ensure proper clearing and cleaning after service.
Assist in stock and equipment control.
Ensure all guest orders are served accurately and on time.
Report operational issues to the Captain/Restaurant Manager.
Maintain discipline and teamwork among service staff.
Follow food safety, fire safety and hotel policies.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
