Job Description – Freight Operations Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a Freight Operations Executive to handle day-to-day sea export operations, documentation, shipment coordination, and shipping-line activities.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor sea export shipments from booking to completion.
Coordinate with customers/exporters for shipment and export documentation.
Check freight rates and coordinate with shipping lines.
Place shipping bookings and follow up on booking confirmations.
Prepare and submit Shipping Instructions (SI).
Coordinate Bill of Lading (BL) drafts, corrections, approval, and release.
Follow up for BL release, surrender, and freight invoices.
Coordinate with shipping lines, customers, and agencies for smooth shipment movement.
Track shipment status and ensure timely completion of operational activities.
Prepare and maintain daily shipment reports.
Resolve documentation and operational issues promptly.

Required Skills
Good knowledge of Sea Export & Freight Forwarding Operations.
Experience in Export Documentation.




Knowledge of BL, SI, Booking and Freight processes.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Solid follow-up and problem-solving ability.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Ability to handle multiple shipments and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate
3–6 years of experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics / Export Operations.
Experience working with shipping lines and export documentation.
Solid coordination and customer-handling skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
