Job Summary:

Duro Mattresses Private Limited is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Lab Assistant for its latex foam manufacturing facility. The candidate will assist with laboratory testing, quality-control activities, chemical handling and maintenance of accurate test records.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine testing of raw materials, chemical dispersions, in-process samples and finished latex foam products.
Measure and record parameters such as pH, viscosity, density, total solids content and ammonia content.
Prepare samples and chemical solutions as instructed by the QC or production team.
Inspect finished products for density, hardness, dimensions and other quality parameters.
Maintain daily laboratory reports, QC records and test registers.
Ensure proper labelling, storage and handling of chemicals and samples.
Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and the work area.
Report any quality deviations or unusual test results to the concerned senior.




Follow all laboratory safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.
Coordinate with the production team for process and quality monitoring.

Qualifications
B.Sc. in Chemistry; or
Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Laboratory Technology or a related field.

Skills Required
Basic knowledge of laboratory testing and chemical handling.
Ability to use measuring instruments accurately.
Valuable record-keeping and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and report preparation.
Willingness to work in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Previous experience in the rubber, latex, foam, chemical or manufacturing industry will be an advantage; however, freshers with suitable qualifications are welcome to apply.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
