Job Purpose

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all activities required for the successful opening of a new retail store, ensuring the store is ready operationally, commercially, and visually by the launch date.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate the complete current-store opening process.
Coordinate with Projects, HR, VM, IT, Finance, Security, and Operations teams.
Ensure store infrastructure, fixtures, equipment, signage, and systems are ready.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of the store team.
Coordinate stock receiving, inventory setup, tagging, and merchandising.
Ensure SOPs, licenses, statutory requirements, and safety standards are completed.
Conduct pre-opening audits and resolve pending issues before launch.
Coordinate trial runs, soft opening, and final launch activities.
Track timelines, budgets, dependencies, and opening milestones.




Prepare daily/weekly opening-status reports for management.
Ensure smooth handover of the store to the regular Operations team after opening.

Required Skills & Experience
5–8 years of experience in retail operations/new store openings.
Robust project coordination and execution skills.
Positive communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.
Willingness to travel and work flexibility

Key Performance Indicators
Store opened within the planned timeline.
Readiness of manpower, stock, systems, and infrastructure.
Compliance with company SOPs and statutory requirements.
Successful execution of opening-day operations.
Effective coordination and closure of pre-opening action points.
