As a Payroll Accounting Associate you will support payroll accounting activities within our People Operations function, helping manage employee lifecycle transactions, payroll and benefits administration, record keeping, and inquiry resolution. As an Associate you will focus on learning and contributing through project tasks, adapting to changing priorities, asking questions,



and developing the skills needed to deliver dependable work while building your personal brand. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will support the payroll accounting process, work through operational inquiries in line with HR protocols, and contribute to a team that helps keep HR processes and systems moving smoothly across a quick-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Processing payroll accounting transactions and reconciling employee pay records across pay cycles
Reviewing payroll data for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with labor laws, policies, and internal controls
Maintaining employee master data, payroll documentation, and transaction records in HR systems
Responding to payroll and employee inquiries, researching issues, and routing exceptions through defined HR procedures
Supporting payroll adjustments, terminations, retroactive changes, and absence-related updates
Monitoring data quality, identifying discrepancies, and esca
