Job Summary :-

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager responsible for managing sales activities, developing recent business, maintaining existing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities :-
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve assigned area sales targets.
Identify and develop new customers, dealers, distributors, and business opportunities.
Manage and maintain solid relationships with existing customers.
Conduct regular market visits to understand customer requirements and market trends.
Generate leads and convert them into business opportunities.
Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and follow up for order closure.
Coordinate with production, dispatch, finance, and customer service teams for smooth order execution.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, products, and market developments.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales requirements.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.




Travel extensively within the assigned territory as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications :-
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
3–8 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial company.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Good knowledge of territory management and customer relationship management.
Ability to generate new business and achieve sales targets.
Strong market development and networking skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
