Check out our website to discover the Tenneco Way.ABOUT THE ROLEA Quality Manager in an automotive company oversees quality assurance and control systems to ensure vehicles and components meet safety, regulatory, and customer expectations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRoles & Responsibilities:Ensure Customer Rejection PPM within the TargetEnsure FG Parts Inspection as per planEnsure FG Parts Quality as per Quality PlanCommunicate and get countermeasures from Production Department for QualityMaintain Mean time between Receipt to Clearance of FG PartsMaintain all relevant documents and standards required for Firewall QualityEnsure Dock audit before Part DeliveryConduct FML Inspection and ensure Product & Process onlineConduct meeting as per the plan and communicate the issuesFacilitate rework or segregation by production for any quality issuesUpdate rejection Data and communicate to all concernedRun SPC for all FG Parts and plot the results and communicate all concernedProvide guidance and leadership to key quality staffProvide leadership and management in the areas of ISO and TS certificationEnsure all products are in compliance with customer requirements and specificationManage the quality documentation and files required by the company and customersTrain and develop an appreciation of TQM within the organization ensuring quality instilled throughout the operationVerified compliance to standardsUnderstand, support and educate the company on the cost of quality conceptMaintain and track all required documents required on the various products and materialShould keep a close track of internal audits that are being conductedUpdate the board regarding TS 16949,ASES,Q1MSA activitiesIATF 16949 activities, responsible for activities mentioned in the procedureEnsure the Warranty Claims within the TargetMaintain Response time to Customer for any issued as per the 8D ClausesJOB REQUIREMENTSM.E / B.E / D.M.E (Mechanical, Automobile, Production Engineering) with 15-20 from valuable organization. Minimum of 5+ years as development engineer and / or designer in exhaust businessDeep knowledge of manufacturing process design & lean manufacturing methodologies.
