We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented and hands-on Area Store Manager to oversee multiple stores across Navi Mumbai, drive revenue growth, execute local marketing initiatives and ensure strong operational discipline across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations and overall performance of multiple retail stores.

Lead, guide and manage Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers and store teams.

Take ownership of store-wise revenue targets and drive consistent month-on-month and same-store sales growth.

Monitor sales, average bill value, customer walk-ins, conversion, category performance and store profitability.

Identify revenue opportunities through category growth, upselling, cross-selling, promotions and improved product availability.

Plan and execute local store marketing activities to increase customer footfall, awareness and repeat business.

Build local partnerships with residential societies, offices, gyms, schools, businesses and community groups to generate store traffic and sales.

Support WhatsApp, CRM, loyalty and customer re-engagement campaigns to improve repeat purchases and customer retention.

Drive membership, loyalty programmes, promotional campaigns and seasonal offers across stores.

Track marketing campaign performance and measure impact on footfall, sales,



customer acquisition and repeat purchases.

Ensure inventory accuracy across stores, including stock inward, GRN, replenishment, stock transfers, cycle counts and physical audits.

Monitor expiry, near-expiry, damaged, non-moving and ageing stock and ensure timely corrective action.

Control shrinkage, pilferage, stock variance, wastage and operational losses.

Conduct regular store visits, review performance and ensure timely closure of operational gaps.

Ensure proper merchandising, pricing, promotions, planograms, product availability and store presentation.

Ensure accurate usage and discipline across ERP, POS and store reporting systems.

Review cash handling, daily reconciliations, store expenses, margins and operational cost controls.

Ensure strict compliance with company SOPs, FSSAI requirements, product labelling, expiry standards, hygiene and audit processes.

Manage manpower planning, staff productivity, attendance, training and performance reviews.

Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure consistently high customer service standards.

Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, marketing, vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth store operations.





Ensure smooth execution of online and omnichannel orders across stores.

Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly performance reports with explicit action plans for revenue, operations and marketing.

Take complete ownership of Revenue + Operations + Team + Customer Experience + Local Marketing across assigned stores.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of retail operations experience.

Prior experience in multi-store management is strongly preferred.

Strong background in supermarkets, hypermarkets, FMCG, grocery or organized retail preferred.

Proven ability to drive sales growth and store revenue.

Experience in executing local marketing, promotions and customer acquisition activities preferred.

Experience managing Store Managers and frontline retail teams.

Strong understanding of inventory control, stock audits, expiry management and retail compliance.

Solid commercial, analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable working with revenue targets, store KPIs, margins and performance dashboards.

Working knowledge of ERP/POS systems and MS Excel preferred.

Ability to travel regularly across Navi Mumbai stores.

Graduate preferred.
