About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and versatile QA Engineer with a balanced focus on manual testing and automation to join our healthcare technology team. In this hybrid role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of our software products while also building scalable automation frameworks.

Your work will directly contribute to delivering high-quality healthcare solutions that support clinicians, improve operational efficiency, and enhance patient care.

ResponsibilitiesManual QA (50%)

- Review software requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases
- Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and performance
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools
- Perform regression testing to ensure stability of existing features
- Validate compliance with Electronic Health Record (EHR) standards and usability requirements
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define testing strategies
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality

Automation QA (50%)

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)
- Convert manual test cases into automated test scripts
- Build scalable and reusable automation libraries and components
- Execute automated test suites for functional, integration, and end-to-end testing




- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Perform API testing for RESTful services
- Support cross-browser testing and cloud-based test execution
- Contribute to improving automation practices, tools, and frameworks

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 10+ of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems (preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cooperative environment
- Availability to work US business hours

Required Skills

- Strong experience with Playwright for test automation
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript
- Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks
- Experience with manual testing methodologies
- Knowledge of CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience in REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
- Ability to write SQL queries and perform database validation
- Experience with cross-browser testing
- Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments
- Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira or similar)

Pay: ₹111,556.41 - ₹148,700.00 per month
