Senior AI Engineer

Team: Engineering Location: Bangalore, India (In-Person, Hybrid) Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

- Research the latest LLMs, GenAI tools, and AI infrastructure for relevant product opportunities.

- Build and refine LLM-powered POCs for analytics use cases.

- Evaluate the right approach across prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, and model choice.

- Improve performance across latency, accuracy, cost, reliability, and UX.

- Run experiments across data prep, retrieval, prompts, guardrails, and evaluation.

- Turn strong POCs into scalable designs for production.

- Mentor junior team members on LLM systems and AI experimentation.

Requirements

- Atleast 1 year focused on Generative AI and LLM systems: Strong experience with prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, fine-tuning, LLM evaluation, and optimizing for latency, inference performance, and production trade-offs.

- 4+ years of experience in engineering/data science, or a PhD in a relevant field.

- Proficiency in Python.

- Good grounding in machine learning and NLP.

- Experience with vector databases, retrieval systems, and LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph.
