Job Summary

D’LIFE Home Interiors is looking for a Purchase Officer with 2–3 years of experience in procurement within the interior, modular furniture, construction, or related industries. The candidate should have good knowledge of interior materials, vendor coordination, purchase documentation, and price negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities for interior and construction projects.
- Source and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Procure plywood, laminates, hinges, drawer channels, handles, kitchen accessories, adhesives, and other furniture hardware.
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate purchase records.
- Coordinate with project, design, warehouse, production, and accounts teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order status, deliveries, and pending materials.
- Verify material specifications, quality, quantities, and invoices.
- Maintain supplier databases and procurement documentation.




- Support inventory monitoring and ensure materials are purchased according to project requirements.
- Identify suitable vendors and assist in cost-saving initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- 2–3 years of experience in purchase and procurement in the interior, modular furniture, construction, or related industries.
- Good knowledge of plywood, laminates, hinges, drawer channels, handles, furniture fittings, and modular kitchen accessories.
- Experience in vendor coordination, quotation comparison, and price negotiation.
- Knowledge of purchase orders, procurement documentation, and inventory management.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and purchase-related software or ERP systems.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in Hindi and English is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in home interiors, modular kitchens and wardrobes, furniture hardware, plywood trading, or construction material procurement will be preferred.
