Job Description:

We are looking for a Line Assembler – Telecom Products Trainer to provide theoretical and practical training to candidates in telecom product assembly, component handling, assembly procedures, quality control, and workplace safety. The trainer will prepare candidates for entry-level employment in telecom and electronics manufacturing industries in accordance with the approved training curriculum and applicable DDU-GKY guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver theoretical and practical training in telecom product and electronic component assembly.
- Explain different telecom components, parts, tools, equipment, and their functions.
- Demonstrate assembly procedures, component fitting, wiring, connections, and assembly techniques.
- Train candidates to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assembly line processes.
- Demonstrate the secure and proper use of hand tools and basic testing equipment.
- Teach quality standards, defect identification, inspection procedures, and basic troubleshooting.
- Explain workplace safety, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions, and proper equipment handling.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, hands-on sessions, assignments, and skill assessments.
- Monitor trainee performance and provide corrective guidance wherever necessary.
- Maintain training equipment, tools, practical materials, and workshop discipline.
- Maintain trainee attendance, assessment results, lesson plans, and progress records.
- Provide additional practice and support to trainees who require improvement.
- Coordinate with the training, quality, and placement teams to improve candidates' job readiness.
- Follow the approved curriculum, training schedule,



assessment procedures, and applicable DDU-GKY SOPs.
- Maintain the required training documentation for inspections and audits.

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of electronics, telecom components, and assembly processes.
- Understanding of basic electrical and electronic concepts.
- Familiarity with hand tools, testing equipment, and assembly procedures.
- Knowledge of quality inspection, defect identification, and basic troubleshooting.
- Awareness of ESD precautions and workplace safety practices.
- Ability to demonstrate practical tasks and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Good communication, teaching, and trainee-handling skills.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain training records and conduct practical assessments.

Qualification and Experience:

- Relevant educational or vocational qualification as prescribed by the applicable NCVT/SSC standards for the domain, wherever applicable.
- A qualification in Electronics and Communication, Electronics, Telecom, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred, subject to applicable domain eligibility requirements.
- Practical industry experience in telecom assembly, electronics manufacturing, production, or quality inspection is preferred.
- Previous technical training or teaching experience is an advantage.

Preferred Additional Skills:

- Experience in telecom or electronics manufacturing units.
- Familiarity with production line procedures and quality standards.
- Experience conducting hands-on technical training.
- Knowledge of DDU-GKY or other vocational skill-development programmes.
