Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Software Testing Faculty with practical knowledge of Playwright and modern software testing methodologies. The candidate will be responsible for delivering classroom-based training, conducting practical sessions, guiding students through projects, and preparing them for careers in software testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct training sessions on Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
- Provide practical training on Playwright and web application automation.
- Explain test scenarios, test cases, defect reporting, test execution, and debugging.
- Develop training materials, assignments, practical exercises, and assessments.
- Guide students through real-time testing projects and automation activities.
- Conduct technical assessments, machine tests, and project evaluations.
- Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Explain software testing concepts using practical, real-world examples.
- Assist students with technical interview preparation and project presentations.
- Maintain student attendance, performance records, and academic documentation.
- Stay updated with current testing tools, frameworks, and industry practices.

Required Technical Skills

- Good knowledge of Software Testing Fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of Manual Testing.
- Hands-on knowledge of Playwright.




- Basic to good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
- Understanding of web application and end-to-end testing.
- Knowledge of test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and defect lifecycle.
- Basic knowledge of API Testing and Postman.
- Basic understanding of SQL and Database Testing.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub is an added advantage.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology is preferred.

Faculty & Training Skills

- Valuable communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and practically.
- Ability to conduct hands-on training sessions.
- Good student mentoring and classroom management skills.
- Ability to handle students with different levels of technical knowledge.
- Willingness to support students in projects and placement preparation.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with 6 months to 2 years of experience in Software Testing, QA, Automation Testing, or Testing Training, along with practical knowledge of Playwright, are preferred.

Salary: As per experience and technical proficiency.

Location: Kazhakootam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
