Wrap Around Case Packer Operator

A dynamic manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Wrap Around Case Packer Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate operation of wrap-around case packing equipment, ensuring products are packaged to the highest standards while maintaining a protected work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Load, position, and orient products onto the wrap-around case packer according to specifications and work instructions.
- Set up, adjust, calibrate, and test the packing machine for optimal performance.
- Monitor machine operation in real time, identify anomalies, and perform routine troubleshooting and minor adjustments.
- Inspect packaged cases for correct fill, seal integrity, labeling, and overall quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation; perform daily cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on the equipment.
- Document production data, record any downtime, defects, or quality issues, and communicate them to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in Kaizen or other processimprovement initiatives, suggesting enhancements for efficiency and quality.





Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or associate degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience operating packaging machinery, preferably wraparound case packers.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and operational instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in fastpaced environments.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
- Valid OSHA 10hour safety certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
