- Operate and monitor Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and water treatment processes.
- Analyze and monitor DO, COD, BOD, MLSS, pH, SV-30 and Grease parameters.
- Handle and dose treatment chemicals such as Alum, Urea, DAP, Polyelectrolyte and Chlorine for water treatment and disinfection.
- Collect water/effluent samples from different plant areas and conduct required testing.
- Monitor operating conditions, meters, gauges and critical process parameters.
- Record meter/gauge readings and maintain daily operational data and ETP logbooks/reports.
- Operate equipment for purification and clarification of water/effluent.
- Ensure control of critical process and quality parameters of the ETP.
- Monitor and optimize power and water consumption.
- Inspect ETP equipment regularly and troubleshoot instrumentation and mechanical breakdowns.
- Coordinate with HOD and other departments for plant/project activities.
- Manage manpower and ensure smooth shift operations.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and proper implementation of safety instructions.
- Maintain housekeeping and ensure secure working practices within the ETP area.
