JOB VACANCY – QC Inspector
We are hiring a QC Inspector for our company.
Position: QC Inspector
Location: Ambattur.
Experience: 1 - 2 years
Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech (Mechanical or relevant field)
Salary: 16000rs-23000rs
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Good knowledge of engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.
· Ability to read and understand 2D drawings, specifications, and inspection standards.
· Hands-on knowledge of Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Gauges.
· Basic knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
· Knowledge of incoming, in-process, and final inspection.
· Ability to identify dimensional, visual, and process-related defects.
· Basic knowledge of 7 QC Tools.
· Knowledge of 5 Why and Root Cause Analysis.
· Basic understanding of Control Plan, PFMEA, Inspection Plan, and Work Instructions.
· Knowledge of NCR (Non-Conformance Report) preparation and handling.
· Ability to segregate and control non-conforming materials/products
· Positive observation and attention to detail.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Good communication and coordination with Production and Quality teams.
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
· Willingness to work in a shop-floor/manufacturing environment.
· Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality reporting.
· Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures.
· Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn new inspection methods and quality tools.
Required skills:
- Metal Fabrication knowledge and drawings.
- Hindi speaking advantage
- Fabrication JIG and Fixture knowledge.
