Freelance Biomonitoring Research Scientist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Biomonitoring Research Scientist to support research involving biomarkers, biological monitoring, exposure assessment, toxicology, health assessment, and environmental/occupational health research.

Key Responsibilities

- Support biomonitoring research and evidence-generation projects.
- Review biomarker selection, biological matrices, sampling methods, and analytical approaches.
- Conduct literature reviews related to exposure biomarkers and health outcomes.
- Review study designs, methodologies, and statistical interpretation.
- Support research involving environmental, occupational, clinical, or population biomonitoring.
- Interpret scientific findings and support discussion sections of manuscripts.
- Review scientific manuscripts for technical accuracy.
- Address reviewer and client comments.





Required Educational Background

- Master's or PhD in Toxicology, Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Environmental Science, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, or related field.

Required Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant research experience in biomonitoring, biomarkers, toxicology, exposure science, or related fields.
