We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled PLC & Instrumentation Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in PLC programming, industrial automation, control systems, and instrumentation.

The candidate will be responsible for PLC programming, control panel testing, instrumentation activities, troubleshooting, commissioning, and providing technical support for automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
- Work with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Schneider, or equivalent.
- Perform PLC panel testing, I/O checking, loop checking, and commissioning.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, P&IDs;, and instrumentation drawings.
- Configure and troubleshoot industrial instrumentation such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
- Work with sensors, transmitters, control valves, actuators, and other field instruments.
- Perform instrument calibration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Interface PLC systems with HMI/SCADA systems.
- Identify and resolve electrical, instrumentation, PLC, and control-system issues.
- Support installation, commissioning, site testing, and system start-up activities.
- Coordinate with project, electrical, instrumentation, and site teams to complete assigned activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, I/O lists, and commissioning records.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards at all times.





Required Skills

- 1–3 years of experience in PLC, Automation, and Instrumentation.
- Positive understanding of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems is preferred.
- Good knowledge of industrial sensors and field instruments.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, P&IDs;, and control wiring diagrams.
- Basic understanding of control panels, MCCs, relays, contactors, and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc., will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer/project sites when required.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, E&I;, or a related engineering discipline.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant industrial automation experience.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a very short notice period are preferred.
- Candidates residing in or willing to commute to Madipakkam, Chennai are preferred.
