About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer & SEO Specialist with at least 2 years of hands-on experience to take ownership of the development, ongoing maintenance, and search engine optimization of our WordPress websites.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical web development and organic growth marketing. You will build and optimize fast, secure, and mobile-responsive websites while implementing on-page, technical, and structural SEO best practices to maximize search visibility and user conversion.

Key Responsibilities

1. WordPress Development & Site Management

- Build, customize, and maintain modern, high-performing WordPress websites.
- Develop and customize WordPress themes, child themes, and templates using modern page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, etc.) or clean HTML/CSS/PHP code.
- Manage plugin evaluation, installation, updates, and troubleshooting to avoid code conflicts or performance bottlenecks.
- Perform routine maintenance, including core updates, database optimization, daily/weekly backups, and malware scanning.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and cross-device functionality.
- Monitor website uptime, server configurations, domain settings, and SSL certificates.

2. Technical & On-Page SEO

- Execute on-page SEO best practices: optimize title tags, meta descriptions, header tags (H1–H4), internal linking structures, image alt text, and URLs.
- Conduct technical SEO audits to identify and fix crawl errors, broken links (404s), redirect loops (301/302), canonical issues, and duplicate content.
- Improve site speed and Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID/INP, CLS) through caching, minification, CDN implementation, and image compression.




- Implement structured data markup (Schema.org / JSON-LD) for rich snippets.
- Manage and maintain XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, and Google Search Console indexing.

3. Analytics, Tracking & Collaboration

- Set up and manage Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and tracking pixels for conversion monitoring.
- Collaborate with content writers and marketing teams to publish SEO-friendly landing pages and blog posts.
- Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to discover recent ranking opportunities.
- Monitor key performance metrics (traffic, rankings, CTR, bounce rates) and produce monthly performance reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated professional experience developing and managing WordPress websites.
- CMS Proficiency: Deep understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, dashboard architecture, database structure, and page builders (e.g., Elementor, Gutenberg, WP Bakery).
- Core Web Technologies: Solid foundation in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, and PHP for WordPress customization.
- SEO Expertise: Proven track record in executing both technical SEO (site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema) and on-page SEO.
- Tools & Platforms: Hands-on experience with:
- SEO Plugins: Rank Math, Yoast SEO, or All in One SEO.
- Webmaster Tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager.
- SEO Audit Tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or Moz.
- Performance Tools: Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, Lighthouse.
- Problem Solving: Strong debugging skills to resolve plugin conflicts, layout breakage, and styling issues.

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

- Experience with WooCommerce setup, optimization, and payment gateway integration.
- Familiarity with basic server administration (cPanel, WHM, DNS records, Cloudflare, WP Engine, or SiteGround).
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and tools (Figma, Adobe XD).
- Knowledge of version control (Git / GitHub).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
