Sakhi Clothing is a growing women's fashion brand offering sarees, kurtis, dresses, lehengas, fabrics and more.

We are looking for a confident, expressive and creative person to be part of our social media content team — someone who genuinely enjoys talking, acting, performing and creating entertaining content in front of a camera.

The Role

This is a hands-on social media content role with a strong, on-camera component.

You will be part of Sakhi's Reels and video content, bringing different ideas and situations to life. Some days may involve showcasing a new collection; other days could involve a funny skit, a relatable customer situation, a Tamil conversation, a styling video, a POV or a completely spontaneous idea.

We are looking for someone who can speak naturally, act convincingly and improvise, rather than someone who simply memorises lines and poses for the camera.

Our in-house photographer/videographer handles the shooting, so your focus will be on performance, communication, creativity and content.

What You'll Do

- Create and appear in Instagram Reels and short-form videos for Sakhi Clothing.
- Wear and showcase Sakhi's products naturally through different content formats.
- Act in skits, POVs, relatable situations, conversations and promotional videos.
- Speak confidently in Tamil, English and Tanglish, depending on the content.
- Explain products, fabrics, styling and collections in a way that feels like a genuine conversation rather than a sales pitch.
- Perform both scripted and improvised content.
- Bring different personalities, expressions and characters to different videos.
- Participate in trend-based, humorous, aesthetic,



informative and storytelling content.
- Contribute ideas for hooks, concepts, dialogues and Reel situations.
- Work closely with the photographer/videographer and social media team during shoots.
- Take direction, experiment with different approaches and be comfortable doing multiple takes.
- Help create content that is relatable, entertaining and native to social media.

- Talks naturally and confidently on camera.
- Is fluent and expressive in spoken Tamil.
- Can carry a conversation without sounding rehearsed.
- Has a natural ability to act, react and improvise.
- Has good comic timing, expressions and body language.
- Can switch comfortably between serious, funny, emotional and energetic content.
- Is curious about fashion and enjoys experimenting with different looks.
- Is comfortable wearing and showcasing different types of clothing.
- Can take a simple idea and turn it into an engaging piece of content.
- Is energetic, reliable and comfortable working in a creative team.

You Don't Need To Be

- A professional model
- A social media influencer
- A celebrity
- Someone with a large following
- A professional photographer or videographer

Follower count is not key to us.

Acting, theatre,



anchoring, hosting, UGC, YouTube, college performances or previous social media experience are a plus, but natural personality and camera confidence matter more than a fancy portfolio.

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit a 30–60 second video in Tamil. You may be given a simple situation or topic and asked to speak naturally about it.

This is to understand your camera confidence, communication, expressions, Tamil fluency and ability to improvise.
