- Evaluate and manage pediatric patients presenting with various medical conditions.
- Conduct OPD consultations and provide appropriate clinical assessment and treatment.
- Attend pediatric patients referred from the Emergency Room (ER) and provide timely consultation.
- Assess patients for admission, treatment, observation, and further management as required.
- Monitor the clinical condition and progress of admitted pediatric patients.
- Assist in the management of critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients under the supervision of the senior consultant, whenever required.
- Assist senior consultants in patient assessment, clinical rounds, investigations, and treatment planning.
- Review patient case sheets, investigation reports, and clinical progress notes.
- Coordinate with duty doctors, nursing staff, and other departments regarding patient care.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions.
- Escalate clinical deterioration and emergency situations promptly to the senior consultant.
- Prepare accurate and complete discharge summaries for pediatric patients.
- Document diagnosis,



hospital course, investigations, treatment provided, condition at discharge, and follow-up advice.
- Ensure discharge summaries and related medical records are completed within the prescribed timeframe.
- Verify the accuracy of medication details, dosage instructions, and follow-up recommendations.
- Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Qualifications and Experience
- MBBS with MD/DNB/Diploma in Pediatrics or other qualifications accepted for the designated role, as per applicable regulations.
- Valid registration with the relevant State Medical Council/National Medical Register, as applicable.
- Relevant clinical experience in pediatrics and inpatient patient management preferred.
- Positive clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
