Job Overview

As a Design Partner, you will take ownership of residential interior design projects—from understanding customer requirements and creating design concepts to presenting solutions and coordinating with internal teams for successful execution.

You will work closely with customers to create functional, aesthetically appealing, and personalized home interiors while ensuring a high-quality customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct customer consultations and understand their lifestyle, requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Develop space plans and customized modular interior design solutions.
- Create design concepts, presentations, and production-ready drawings.




- Present design proposals to customers and incorporate feedback.
- Manage customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with internal business, design, and execution teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain high standards of design quality and customer satisfaction.
- Take complete ownership of assigned residential interior projects.

Eligibility

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in residential interior design.
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of SketchUp and other relevant interior design software.
- Strong understanding of residential space planning, modular interiors, materials, and design principles.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to independently manage projects and work with customers.
- Portfolio showcasing at least 6 completed residential interior projects.
- 3 customer references are required.

Mandatory Requirements

- This is a freelance Design Partner opportunity, not a full-time employment role.
- Candidates must have their own laptop capable of running SketchUp Pro and other required design tools.
- Successful candidates must complete HomeLane Induction Training and SC Pro Training.




- Mandatory weekend presence at the HomeLane showroom/Experience Centre on both Saturday and Sunday.
