Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure that plastic moulded components meet customer specifications and company quality standards. The inspector will carry out in-process and final inspections, record results, and work with production to identify and resolve defects.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect plastic moulded parts (injection, blow, or compression moulded) at first-off, in-process, and final stages against drawings, samples, and specifications.
- Check dimensions, weight, colour, finish, and fit using measuring instruments
- Identify visual and functional defects, including flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, silver streaks, weld lines, black specks, and colour variation.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) with production and tooling teams.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, checklists, and quality reports regularly.
- Follow ISO 9001 procedures, 5S, and workplace safety practices.
- Handle customer complaints and returns support by inspecting returned parts and supplying data for investigation.

Required Skills





- Positive knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes and common moulding defects.
- Clear communication and teamwork with production staff.
- Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and documentation.
- Experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, weighing scales, and gauges.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and CAPA.
- Good analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quality documentation.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / Any degree

Experience

- 0-5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control in a plastic injection moulding industry.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team of quality inspectors.
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices is an added advantage.
- Location: Coimbatore ( Veerapandi pirivu local candidates preferred)*

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
