EduStaff Consultancy Services is recruiting a Student Counsellor for a reputed CBSE school in Aluva, Kerala.

The candidate will be responsible for providing counselling and emotional support to students, understanding their academic and personal concerns, and working closely with teachers and school management to support students' overall well-being.

Eligibility & Experience

Candidates should meet one of the following profiles:

Option 1

- Master's degree in Psychology / M.Sc. Psychology
- Minimum 3 years of counselling experience
- Prior experience working as a counsellor in a CBSE school is required

OR

Option 2

- MSW (Master of Social Work)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Student Counsellor
- Prior experience working in a CBSE school is required

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individual and group counselling sessions for students
- Support students with academic, behavioural, emotional and personal concerns




- Identify students who may require additional counselling support
- Maintain appropriate counselling records and documentation
- Coordinate with teachers, parents and school management when required
- Conduct student well-being and awareness sessions
- Support students in developing healthy coping and communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of student psychology and behaviour
- Empathy and patience when working with students
- Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
- Good counselling and listening skills
- Experience in a school environment, particularly CBSE, will be important

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
