Senior Product & Packaging Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product & Packaging Designer who can take ownership of both product design and packaging design for our growing mobile accessories and consumer products portfolio.

This is a long-term opportunity for a creative and technically strong designer who wants to grow into a design leadership role and take ownership of the complete visual journey — from the product itself to its packaging.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design

- Lead the design of new mobile accessories and consumer products.
- Create 3D models, concepts and photorealistic product renders.
- Collaborate with product development teams and suppliers on samples and specifications.
- Ensure designs are functional, manufacturable and cost-effective.
- Stay updated with global product design and consumer trends.

Packaging Design

- Design product packaging including boxes, inserts, blister packs and related materials.
- Create visually appealing packaging that stands out in retail environments.
- Work with packaging vendors on materials, specifications and production requirements.
- Ensure packaging provides adequate product protection during transportation.
- Prepare accurate, print-ready artwork files.
- Review packaging proofs and ensure brand consistency across products.

Collaboration & Leadership

- Coordinate with Product Development, CRM and other internal teams.
- Incorporate customer feedback into product and packaging improvements.
- Present concepts and designs to leadership for approval.




- Collaborate with suppliers in India and China regarding product and packaging specifications.
- Mentor and guide junior designers as the team grows.

Requirements

- 5+ years of relevant experience in Product Design, Industrial Design and/or Packaging Design.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on packaging design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both product and packaging design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Rhino or similar 3D CAD software.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and CorelDRAW.
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, printing processes and structural design.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably for mobile accessories or consumer electronics.
- Experience creating print-ready packaging files.
- Experience working with suppliers/manufacturers is preferred.
- Degree/Diploma in Product Design, Industrial Design or a related field preferred.
