Job Title: Site Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Site QS Engineer to manage quantity measurement, cost control, billing, material reconciliation, and commercial activities at the project site. The candidate will coordinate with the project, engineering, procurement, subcontractor, and client teams to ensure accurate project cost management.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and verify BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and quantity measurements.
- Take site measurements and maintain accurate measurement records.
- Prepare RA Bills / Running Account Bills for client and subcontractor payments.
- Verify subcontractor bills against actual site work and approved BOQ.
- Prepare Measurement Sheets and Quantity Take-Offs.
- Monitor project quantities, costs, and variations.
- Prepare and submit variation statements and additional work claims.
- Assist in preparing material reconciliation statements.
- Track material consumption against approved quantities.
- Coordinate with the site engineering team for work progress and measurements.
- Verify work completion and quantities before certification of bills.
- Maintain records of client bills, subcontractor bills, work orders, and measurement sheets.




- Assist in rate analysis and cost estimation for additional works.
- Monitor project expenditure against the approved budget.
- Coordinate with the client, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments on commercial matters.
- Prepare weekly/monthly quantity and cost reports.
- Identify quantity discrepancies and support corrective actions.
- Ensure proper documentation of all commercial and contractual activities.

Educational Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5 - 8 years of experience as a QS Engineer / Quantity Surveyor, preferably in construction or MEP projects.
- Experience in MEP projects will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

- Positive knowledge of BOQ, Quantity Take-Off, RA Bills, and Measurement Sheets.
- Knowledge of rate analysis and cost estimation.
- Good understanding of construction/MEP works and materials.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work at project sites and meet deadlines.
