About the role

Vireon is building the power distribution hardware and industrial intelligence platform that enables factories to operate in a safe, efficient and reliable manner by combining IoT hardware, edge computing and data science. Forward Deployment Engineers are the people who put that platform into factories — installing edge hardware, getting it talking to real meters and sensors, and making sure the data keeps flowing 24/7 once we leave the site.

This role involves regular site visits to industrial facilities. Open as a full-time position or a summer internship.

What you'll work on

- Deploy embedded edge computing systems at industrial sites.
- Establish communication with industrial sensors and meters.
- Test the embedded hardware unit before deployment.
- Validate data pipelines and ensure reliable 24/7 data collection.
- Support dashboard development and data visualisation.




- Engage directly with factory teams during and post installation.

Must have

- Basic electronics — wiring, connectors, multimeter use.
- Solid understanding of three-phase electrical power distribution and network analysis.
- Populating PCBs with components and thoroughly testing them.
- Microcontroller (STM, ESP) programming, wireless communication and firmware development.

Positive to have

- Field experience deploying IoT devices beyond college projects.
- Comfort in both boardrooms and non-AC environments — factory floors and electrical panels.
- Clear communication with engineers, factory operators and CXOs.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
