Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer / SDE-2 with strong hands-on experience in Golang to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, microservices, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of system design, AWS, and backend architecture, along with a problem-solving and ownership mindset.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang.
- Build and optimize microservices and distributed systems on AWS.
- Develop robust REST APIs and integrate internal and external services.
- Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with Product, Mobile, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features end-to-end.
- Participate in HLD/LLD, architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decisions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause resolution.




- Take ownership of projects from design to deployment and monitoring.
- Contribute to engineering best practices in a fast-paced startup environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 3–5 years of backend development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Golang.
- Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), concurrency, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS, REST APIs, databases, caching, and messaging systems.
- Strong knowledge of High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and system design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.

Valuable to Have

- Experience with Kafka.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
