Position: Senior Manager / AVP – Direct Fund Raising & Investor Relations

Job Overview

We are seeking a senior, relationship-driven Direct Fund Raising professional to lead direct investor acquisition and capital mobilisation function. The role will focus on building and managing relationships with HNI/UHNI investors, Family Offices, Corporate and Institutional Investors, and sophisticated investors.

The ideal candidate will combine strong fundraising and business development expertise with investment knowledge and the ability to engage senior investors on investment strategy, risk, returns, portfolio construction, and structured credit.

Key Responsibilities

1. Direct Investor Acquisition & Fund Raising

- Build and manage a strong pipeline of HNI, UHNI, Family Office, Corporate and Institutional investors.
- Leverage personal networks, strategic introductions, referrals and targeted outreach to acquire new investors.
- Own the complete investor acquisition lifecycle from prospecting and qualification to presentation, due diligence, documentation and capital closure.
- Develop investor-specific engagement strategies based on investment appetite, risk profile, liquidity and return expectations.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and provide regular updates on expected AUM and closures.

2. HNI & UHNI Investor Engagement

- Develop strong relationships with HNI/UHNI investors through one-on-one meetings, portfolio discussions and bespoke investment presentations.
- Present Arbour’s investment philosophy, structured credit strategy, underwriting approach, risk framework and return profile.
- Address investor queries, objections and due diligence requirements with a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
- Drive repeat investments,



referrals and long-term investor relationships.

3. Family Office & Institutional Relationships

- Identify and build relationships with Single Family Offices, Multi-Family Offices, investment committees, advisors and institutional investors.
- Understand investor mandates, governance structures, risk appetite and decision-making processes.
- Deliver investment-committee-level presentations covering portfolio construction, credit risk, collateral framework, track record and expected returns.
- Build Arbour as a trusted long-term investment partner.

4. Investor Relationship Management

- Maintain strong relationships with existing investors and identify opportunities for additional capital mobilisation.
- Coordinate with investment, legal, compliance and operations teams to ensure a seamless investor onboarding and closure process.
- Track market intelligence, investor sentiment and competitive fundraising activity to identify new opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 8–15+ years of experience in fund raising, wealth management, private banking, investment sales, AIF/PMS, private credit, structured credit, alternative investments or related financial services.
- Strong existing network among HNIs, UHNIs, Family Offices and institutional investors.
- Proven track record of direct capital mobilisation and AUM growth.
- Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio construction, risk and returns.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Robust commercial acumen with the ability to independently drive investor acquisition and closures.
- Candidates from Private Banking, Wealth Management, AIF, PMS, Alternative Investments, Private Credit or Investment Banking backgrounds would be preferred.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹220,000.00 per year
