Job Description – Security Supervisor

Location: Chennai – Thirumudivakkam

Job Responsibilities

- Assist the Security Officer in managing overall plant security operations.
- Supervise and coordinate security guards and daily security activities.
- Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and materials.
- Maintain visitor records, gate passes, and security registers.
- Ensure proper implementation of security procedures within the manufacturing plant.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance and report any suspicious activities or incidents.
- Support in conducting security checks and maintaining discipline within the premises.
- Coordinate with HR, Admin, and other departments regarding security-related matters.
- Assist in emergency situations, fire drills, evacuation, and other safety-related activities.




- Prepare daily security reports and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.

Qualification

- Any Degree / Diploma preferred.
- Security/Safety-related certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
- Experience in handling security guards and plant security activities is preferred.

Skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of security and fire safety procedures.
- Leadership and team-handling skills.
- Valuable observation and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
