International Trading Manager – Import/Export & Global Sourcing

About the Role

We are looking for a highly commercial and entrepreneurial International Trading Manager who can identify profitable products, markets and trading opportunities globally.

This is not only an import-export documentation job.

We need someone who understands how to:

Find the Right Product → Find the Right Supplier → Find the Buyer → Analyse Margin & Risk → Execute the Trade → Generate Profit

The company will provide capital for approved trading opportunities.

Your responsibility will be to identify profitable opportunities, build relationships with genuine international buyers and suppliers, evaluate the risks involved and manage the trading cycle safely and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

- Research profitable products, industries and international markets.
- Identify new import, export and cross-border trading opportunities.
- Find genuine buyers, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers globally.
- Build and manage an international network of trading partners.
- Source products directly from manufacturers and suppliers at competitive prices.
- Identify countries/markets where those products can be sold profitably.
- Negotiate purchase price, selling price, MOQ, payment terms and commercial terms.
- Analyse demand, competition, landed cost and potential margins.
- Conduct proper due diligence on buyers and suppliers.
- Prepare a business case before company capital is invested.
- Manage complete transactions from sourcing to final payment collection.
- Coordinate logistics, freight, customs, documentation and banking requirements.
- Understand international payment methods including LC, TT, advance payment and other secured structures.
- Monitor currency, shipping, regulatory and payment risks.




- Maintain complete P&L; and transaction reports.
- Safely rotate company capital through commercially viable trading opportunities.
- Develop long-term international buyers and supplier relationships.

Who We Are Looking For

We strongly prefer candidates who already have:

- Existing connections with international buyers, suppliers or manufacturers.
- Hands-on international trading experience.
- Experience closing actual import/export transactions.
- Solid knowledge of global sourcing.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
- Ability to independently identify profitable niches and markets.
- Understanding of Incoterms, shipping, customs and international payments.
- Experience evaluating transaction risk before committing capital.
- Ability to calculate complete landed cost and expected net profit.
- Strong business judgment and integrity.

Candidates who have worked across multiple products, countries or industries will be highly preferred.

This role does not provide unrestricted access to company funds.
