About Planterie

Planterie is a design-led plant studio and café in South Delhi. We work across retail, e-commerce, gifting, workshops, plant-care services and plantscaping projects.

About the Role

We are looking for someone to take day-to-day ownership of Planterie’s Shopify store and ensure that everything a customer sees online is current, beautiful, accurate and easy to buy.

This role sits at the intersection of Shopify operations, visual merchandising, content, inventory and customer experience. You should enjoy working with products, have a strong visual eye, be comfortable with numbers and be highly organised.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and manage Planterie’s Shopify store on a day-to-day basis.
- Upload and regularly update products, prices, variants, descriptions, care information, tags and collections on Shopify.
- Photograph products and prepare clean, brand-aligned images for the website.
- Ensure all product content, imagery and presentation meet Planterie’s brand standards.
- Keep Shopify inventory accurate; promptly hide out-of-stock products and bring them back online when replenished.
- Track rapid-moving, slow-moving and best-selling products and flag stock or merchandising opportunities.
- Merchandise the website by highlighting new arrivals, seasonal products, bestsellers and relevant collections.
- Maintain basic SEO hygiene across Shopify product and collection pages, including titles, descriptions, alt text and metadata.
- Coordinate online orders, packaging,



dispatches and deliveries and follow up on delays or failed deliveries.
- Regularly check the Shopify store for incorrect information, missing images, pricing errors, broken links or other customer-facing issues.
- Build a consistent process for collecting customer reviews after purchase, including Google and product reviews.
- Respond to customer reviews in Planterie’s tone and flag complaints or recurring issues.
- Track basic e-commerce performance such as sales, orders, average order value, bestsellers, stock-outs and product performance.
- Suggest improvements to photography, product pages, collections, bundles and the overall online shopping experience.

Who You Are

- Comfortable using Shopify and keen to become highly proficient with the platform.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership.
- Have a good visual sense and an eye for photography and presentation.
- Write clearly and have a good command of English.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic data.
- Curious about why certain products sell and others do not.
- Enjoy fixing small details and keeping things consistently updated.
- Interested in plants, design, lifestyle brands or thoughtful retail.

Prior experience with Shopify, product photography, Canva/Adobe tools, SEO or e-commerce operations would be practical, but strong ownership and willingness to learn matter more.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
