About the Company

Dubai Porcelain, operating under Azure Glassware & Porcelain Industries LLC, is a UAE-based manufacturer of premium porcelain, bone china and stoneware tableware. Our manufacturing facility in Emirates Industrial City, Sharjah operates kilns up to 24 metres and produces custom-decorated tableware for hotels, restaurants and corporate clients across the Gulf.

We specialise in bespoke decoration — logo printing, gold and platinum banding, embossed finishes and photo-print work. We also operate our own retail brand, Gulf Porcelain.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Serigraphy / Screen Printing Technician with a strong background in printing on ceramic, porcelain or glass to join our decoration department in Sharjah.

This is a hands-on technical production role. You will be responsible for screen preparation, ceramic ink mixing and printing — both direct printing onto ware and the production of ceramic decals/transfers — maintaining consistent quality across production runs.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate screen printing equipment for direct printing on porcelain, bone china, stoneware and glass
- Produce ceramic decals and transfers (single and multi-colour, including four-colour process)
- Prepare screens: coating, exposure, washout, reclaiming; select correct mesh counts for ceramic inks
- Mix and prepare ceramic inks, frits, mediums and precious-metal preparations (gold, platinum)
- Set up and register multi-colour jobs and maintain colour consistency across production batches
- Carry out print trials and test firings; adjust parameters to achieve approved sample standards

- Inspect printed ware for defects and maintain quality standards before firing
- Maintain printing equipment, squeegees, screens and the print area
- Coordinate with the design and production teams on new artwork and customer approvals
- Maintain records of ink formulations, screen specifications and production parameters

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience in screen printing / serigraphy (essential)
- Experience printing on ceramic, porcelain, glass or tiles — not only paper, textile or signage (essential)
- Practical knowledge of ceramic inks, frits, mediums and firing behaviour
- Ability to prepare screens independently: coating, exposure, mesh selection, reclaiming
- Experience with multi-colour registration and colour matching
- Understanding of firing temperatures and how colours behave after firing
- Valid Indian passport with at least 12 months' validity
- Willing to relocate to Sharjah, UAE on a long-term employment contract
- Physically fit for a factory production workplace
- Working English or Hindi sufficient for shop-floor communication

Preferred

- Experience in a ceramic decal / transfer printing unit
- Experience with gold and platinum lining or banding
- Background from an established ceramic cluster (Khurja, Morbi, Thangadh, Jaipur) or a tableware manufacturer

- Familiarity with pad printing or decal application in addition to serigraphy
- Basic knowledge of CorelDRAW or Photoshop for artwork and film output

What We Offer

- Free shared accommodation provided by the company

- Employment visa sponsored by the company
- Medical insurance as per UAE Labour Law
