Designation: Accounts Receivable (Ahmedabad)

Experience: 2 to 5 years

Job Summary: The Accounts Receivable cum Accounts Executive is responsible for managing end‐to‐end receivables, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and accurate accounting entries. The role also supports general accounting functions, statutory compliance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong financial controls and healthy cash flows.

Roles & Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR) Management

- Prepare, verify, and issue sales invoices as per contracts, purchase orders, and GST regulations.
- Ensure timely dispatch of invoices to clients and acknowledgment of receipt.
- Maintain customer‐wise ledger accounts and ensure accuracy in receivables.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and prepare ageing analysis (0–30, 31–60, 61–90, 90+ days).
- Follow up with clients for timely collections through emails, calls, and regular coordination.
- Track collection commitments and escalate overdue accounts to management.
- Prepare weekly and monthly receivables status reports for management review.

Reconciliation & Controls





- Perform customer ledger reconciliation and resolve discrepancies on a regular basis.
- Reconcile receipts with bank statements and customer accounts.
- Coordinate with clients for balance confirmations and confirmations for audit purposes.
- Ensure proper adjustment of credit notes, debit notes, TDS, and short/excess payments.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable and basic accounting principles
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting practices
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Ageing reports)
- Good communication and follow‐up skills.

Requirements

- Experience in service industry / media / IT / manufacturing will be an added advantage
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in in Accounts Receivable and accounting roles.
