- Education: Graduate (B.Com / B.Sc / BBA); MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing is preferred.
- Key Skills: Channel expansion, secondary sales tracking, dealer dispute resolution, territory mapping, and team leadership.
- Languages: Gujarati, Hindi, and English.

Area Sales Manager (ASM) handling the Fan Industry (Consumer Electricals / Home Appliances) in Gujarat, with primary focus on Ahmedabad (North/Central Gujarat) and Surat (South Gujarat):

Key Role Overview

- Core Objective: Drive primary (company-to-distributor) and secondary (distributor-to-retailer) sales targets for ceiling fans, BLDC fans, exhaust fans, and decorative/TPW fans across designated territories.
- Key Territories:
- Ahmedabad Region: Cover Ahmedabad City, Gandhinagar, Kheda, Anand, and Mehsana.
- Surat Region: Cover Surat City, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, and Bharuch.

2. Strategic ResponsibilitiesChannel & Network Management

- Maintain and expand the network of Distributors, Dealers, Sub-dealers, and Electrical Retailers.
- Onboard new channel partners in emerging residential and industrial belts (e.g., Sanand/Changodar in Ahmedabad, Hazira/Palsana in Surat).
- Monitor dealer inventories, sales performance, and counter shares against major competitors (Atomberg, Orient, Crompton,



Havells, Bajaj, Usha, etc.).

B2B & Project Sales

- Engage with local builders, real estate developers, electrical contractors, interior designers, and MEP consultants for bulk commercial and residential project tie-ups.

Territory Execution & Field Management

- Execute daily beat plans, market visits, and product display mapping (Counter Share Elevation).
- Oversee and guide a team of Sales Executives (SEs) and Sales Officers (SOs) in secondary sales tracking.
- Run localized trade schemes, seasonal promotions (pre-summer stock push), and contractor/electrician loyalty programs.

Financial & Operational Control

- Manage payment collections, credit lines, outstanding accounts, and claim settlements for distributors.
- Coordinate with regional warehouses/C&F; agents for timely supply and stock availability.
