Job Description – PLC Automation Engineer

Experience - 3 to 5+ years in hand experience

A PLC Automation Engineer designs, programs, tests, commissions, and maintains programmable logic controller (PLC) systems and industrial automation equipment.

Core Responsibilities

- System design: Develop software design specifications, electrical schematics, and control network architectures.
- PLC and HMI programming: Write, update, and deploy PLC programs using ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagrams. Develop and maintain HMI/SCADA interfaces.
- Testing and commissioning: Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and oversee field installation.
- Maintenance and support: Monitor system performance, carry out routine updates,



and train client technicians in secure system operation.

Skills and Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
- PLC platforms: Proficiency with one or more major PLC brands, such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley (Rockwell), Schneider Electric, Omron, or Mitsubishi.
- Industrial networks: Knowledge of communication protocols such as Profibus, EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, or Modbus.
- Experience: Typically 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in plant operations or system integration.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
