Role Overview

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with experience in LT electrical panel design, AutoCAD and estimation. The candidate should be capable of independently handling electrical designs from RFQ/specification review through BOM, costing and production drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Design various LT electrical panels as per customer requirements and applicable standards.
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings, including:
- GA & panel layout drawings
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Power & control circuit drawings
- Wiring and terminal diagrams
- Design panels such as PCC, MCC, APFC, Distribution Panels, AMF/ATS, VFD/Soft Starter and Solar LT Panels.
- Select appropriate breakers, contactors, relays, meters, busbars, cables and other components.
- Prepare BOM, material specifications and detailed cost estimates.
- Review RFQs,



customer specifications and drawings to determine technical requirements.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Production and Project teams.
- Provide technical support to production and resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant IS/IEC standards and customer specifications.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; AutoCAD Electrical is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of LT panel design, electrical components and switchgear.
- Understanding of breaker, cable and busbar selection.
- Experience in BOM preparation, costing and estimation.
- Ability to read and interpret SLDs and electrical schematics.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and robust coordination skills.
