Job Summary

Prabha Continuous Utility Service is looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer – Coal Handling Plant (CHP) to manage planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for CHP operations, maintenance, shutdowns, and project-related activities.

The ideal candidate should have robust experience in Coal Handling Plant / Thermal Power Plant / Material Handling / O&M;, along with hands-on expertise in maintenance planning, resource planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and MIS reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance plans for CHP.
- Develop and monitor preventive, predictive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance schedules.
- Prepare detailed work schedules and manpower/resource plans.
- Monitor planned vs. actual progress and identify delays or deviations.
- Coordinate with Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, C&I;, Stores, Purchase, and Project teams.
- Prepare and monitor shutdown and major maintenance plans.
- Track manpower, equipment, tools, spares, and consumable requirements.
- Prepare DPR, WPR, MPR, MIS reports, progress reports, and management dashboards.
- Monitor equipment availability, downtime, productivity, and maintenance KPIs.
- Plan and monitor maintenance activities for conveyors, crushers, feeders, screens, wagon tipplers, stacker/reclaimers, transfer towers, and other CHP equipment.
- Coordinate with client representatives regarding schedules, progress, shutdowns, and work completion.
- Monitor critical activities and ensure timely completion as per approved schedules.
- Analyze maintenance data and support RCA and corrective action planning for recurring breakdowns.




- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase teams to ensure timely availability of critical spares and materials.
- Monitor manpower productivity and resource utilization.
- Ensure all planning and execution activities comply with safety, quality, statutory, and client requirements.
- Support management in improving plant availability, reliability, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Required Experience

Candidates should have 10–15 years of relevant experience, preferably in:

- Coal Handling Plant (CHP)
- Thermal Power Plant
- Power Plant O&M;
- Material Handling Systems
- Heavy Engineering
- Industrial O&M; Projects
- Maintenance Planning & Scheduling

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of CHP operations and maintenance
- Maintenance planning and scheduling
- Shutdown / turnaround planning
- Manpower and resource planning
- Progress monitoring and project controls
- Advanced MS Excel
- MS Project and/or Primavera P6
- MIS and management reporting
- Equipment downtime and performance analysis

Key CHP Equipment Exposure

Experience with the following will be highly preferred:

- Belt Conveyors
- Crushers
- Vibrating Screens
- Feeders
- Wagon Tippler / Wagon Unloading System
- Stacker & Reclaimer
- Transfer Towers
- Dust Suppression Systems
- Material Handling Systems

Candidate Profile

- 10–15 years of relevant industry experience.
- Mechanical Engineering qualification preferred.
- Strong planning, analytical, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Ability to independently manage CHP planning and scheduling activities.
- Strong understanding of O&M; and maintenance processes.
- Good communication and client coordination skills.
- Willingness to work at a site-based location in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Pay: From ₹70,000.00 per month
