About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and focused Associate Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students and working professionals in understanding our academic programs, admission process, career pathways, and learning opportunities.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to understand student requirements and recommend suitable academic programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and working professionals through calls, meetings, and other communication channels.
- Understand students’ and working professionals academic backgrounds, interests, career goals, and requirements.
- Provide accurate information about courses, curriculum, eligibility, fees, admission procedures, and career opportunities.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication throughout the admission journey.
- Convert qualified enquiries into applications/admissions while maintaining a student-first approach.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, follow-ups, and application status in the CRM.
- Coordinate with admissions, academic,



and operations teams to ensure a smooth student and working professionals experience.
- Conduct counselling sessions, presentations, webinars, and orientation activities when required.
- Address student and parent queries professionally and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.
- Meet defined counselling, follow-up, and enrolment targets.
- Stay updated on program offerings, admission policies, and relevant education-sector developments.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and working professionals information and follow institutional policies.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in Education, Psychology, Management, or a related field is an advantage.
- 0–2 years of experience in academic counselling, admissions, education sales, student support, or a related role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to listen actively and understand student needs.
- Comfortable speaking with students and working professionals over phone and in person.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM tools.
- Ability to work in a target-oriented and quick-paced environment.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
