About the Role

Primacy Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Odoo Accounting Specialist with a CA / CA Inter background and strong expertise in accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and ERP systems.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, financial reporting, and statutory compliance, along with hands-on experience in Odoo Accounting or another major ERP accounting system.

The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, supporting Odoo ERP implementation, and working closely with functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations using the Odoo Accounting Module.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Bank Reconciliation.
- Process customer invoices, vendor bills, credit/debit notes, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and review Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow, and MIS Reports.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation, inventory accounting, and related reconciliations.
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with internal and statutory audits.
- Support Odoo Accounting configuration, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with Odoo Functional Consultants and Technical Developers during ERP implementation and support projects.
- Understand client accounting requirements and translate them into appropriate ERP workflows.




- Support user training and documentation related to accounting processes.

Required Qualifications

- CA / CA Inter / Semi-Qualified CA preferred.
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance candidates with strong accounting and ERP experience may also be considered.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Good knowledge of P&L;, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and financial reporting.

ERP Experience

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:

- Odoo Accounting
- SAP Business One
- Tally Prime
- Zoho Books
- Microsoft Dynamics
- Oracle NetSuite
- Other ERP accounting systems

Preferred Skills

- Odoo Accounting implementation or migration experience.
- Experience in ERP testing, configuration, or user training.
- Knowledge of multi-company and multi-currency accounting.
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
